Novak Djokovic has once again proven himself an ignorant & foolish man, making demands onto the United States Open that cannot be met. Djokovic is demanding that US Open Organizers make specific exemptions to himself & twenty other players he’s inducted. These exemptions would permit Djokovic the right to traverse local regions & tourist locations in America during the US Open. His reported statements noted that if these exemptions aren’t guaranteed in writing, then all twenty players would boycott the United States Open.

Other players have exited from the US Open, including Rafael Nadal & Ashleigh Barty. Their reasoning is the opposite to Novak Djokovic though, with these two ATP Professionals exiting the tournament for safety insurances & respect towards hundreds of thousands of lives lost in America. Novak Djokovic doesn’t feel similar sentiments towards the American people, which is to be expected. Novak risked an outbreak is his home nation by holding the Adria Tour, which resulted in numerous infections of COVID-19. Novak Djokovic himself was infected with the virus but hasn’t learned his lesson.

Novak demanding exemptions to travel New York City during the US Open is shocking. This city was the epicentre of COVID-19 for months on a worldwide scale, with those who were previously infected with the virus being drastically at risk of having the virus resurface. These twenty stars & Novak Djokovic claim that there are mental difficulties to overcome with travel quarantines. That excuse is minor in comparison to ATP Professionals experiencing another outbreak & potentially losing their lives.

Djokovic has also demanded that the US Open allow him to be exempted from the 14-Day Isolation Period required under travel quarantine restrictions. This man believes himself to be immune from COVID-19 after surviving the virus, which isn’t remotely how coronavirus infects the system. There’ve been individuals that have contracted the virus several days, being hospitalized for months on end.

It’s known that the Association of Tennis Professionals, United States Tennis Association, and ATP Players Council have held a “Secret Meeting” over the demands issued by Novak Djokovic. Inside sources emphasized that Djokovic didn’t receive the desired outcome, with some believing his needs & threats were a bluff. That’s because Novak hasn’t announced his removal from the US Open, neither have the Top ATP 20. Djokovic was likely trying another one of his failed power moves.
