Tennis supporters worldwide were shocked by the behaviour of their former champion, Novak Djokovic. He approved & permitted the lack of social distancing when competing at the Belgrade Tennis Club. Located on the Danube River in Serbia, this charity tennis tour was organized for the Djokovic Family. It showed a clear desperation for the former champion to resume professional tennis. When organizing this venue, Novak didn’t implement social distancing measures. Less than one hundred of the thousands that attended this charitable match were seen wearing face masks.

Medical experts now anticipate an influx of COVID-19 cases will be confirmed in the Danube River Region. ATP Members like Rafael Nadal and Roger Federer refused to participate in this charitable match. It forced Novak Djokovic to employ the assistance of Dominic Thiem, Alexander Zverev, Jelena Jankovic, and Grigor Dimitrov. Those that attended this charitable venue are expected to receive criticism for their actions over the next several days.

Lifted Restrictions

Novak Djokovic didn’t break any laws by maintaining a charitable tennis event. The Serbian Government lifted their COVID-19 lockdown restrictions after cases in their country dropped for zero. However, those cases have continued to rise over the last several days. Consumers in Serbia are entering retail locations again & coming across Asymptomatic Civilians that ultimately infect them. Governments like Serbia, and civilians like Novak Djokovic need to understand that restrictions must be implemented until a vaccine is released.

When questioned on his actions, Novak Djokovic defended himself by noting he isn’t the individual that makes the rules. The former champion believes that the government knows what’s right & wrong for civilian health, not 99% of the medical community worldwide. When asked what he’d do with being met by criticism, Novak confirmed he’d hold another venue to show Serbians their safe. His mindset is that of an egotistical adult that hasn’t faced severe odds. Novak Djokovic could find himself acquiring the novel coronavirus if continuing to hold these charitable venues.
