GTF Receives Nick Krygios Support

The Australian Capital Territory of Canberra is receiving financial sponsorship from Nick Krygios, an influential athlete in the Association of Tennis Professionals. Considered a regular top contender against legendary players like Roger Federer, Nick Krygios hasn’t competed throughout the 2020 ATP Season. It’s because Krygios has actively stood against fellow ATP athletes that’ve competed during the COVID-19 Pandemic and refused to respect the lives lost worldwide.

Even though Nick Krygios isn’t competing professional throughout 2020, the young superstar has engaged with new projects through his foundation. The most recent was announced on September 12th, with Nick Krygios publicly pledging his financial aid & support to the “Gungahlin Tennis Facility” in Canberra, the Australian Capital Territory. Unsurprisingly, Krygios is financially supporting this facility, as Nick lives in the Canberra Region & has actively worked towards assisting disadvantaged children.

Nick Krygios addressed his public announcement to support the Gungahlin Tennis Facility. Emphasis was placed onto providing chances for disadvantaged children and providing them with the funding required to enjoy sporting activities together. Nick mentioned that having a facility dedicated to this cause, and his foundation standing behind the GTF will provide thousands of children with sports hopefully to adore over the decades. Nick Krygios finalized his statements that he wants to see the youth of Canberra happy whenever returning home.

Coaching Lessons Promised

Financial aid wasn’t the exclusive promise gifted to the Gungahlin Tennis Facility. The Nick Krygios Foundation also promised that free coaching lessons. These lessons are only for children under the age of eighteen & will focus on team bonding exercises. There’ll also be social outings with physical distancing requirements. Distancing protocols are also required during all coaching lessons with the NK Foundation.

The Chief Tennis Advisor for the Australian Capital Territory, Kim Kachel, praised the generosity shown by Nick Krygios over the last 24 hours. She’d evoke that the young tennis professional has always supported the Canberra sporting community & that his generosity will give children ample opportunity to explore their goals in professional sports. It should be mentioned that few athletes provide generous donations towards a single facility and that this action shows Nick Krygios is dedicated towards social regrowth after COVID-19.
